The Workplace Stressors Report serves as a follow-up to the 2022 Staffing Challenges Report. It investigates the specific environmental and emotional pressures faced by staff and volunteers working in residential shelters for survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. Given that the average staff tenure in these shelters is only 1.7 years, the study aims to identify the root causes of burnout and turnover to help management improve retention and employee well-being.
