Learn from survivors who connect their journeys of exploitation to the lives of women in Scripture.
REAL STORIES. REAL FAITH. REAL HOPE.
Born out of national research conducted by the Institute for Survivor Care, this Bible study series was created in direct response to survivors’ voices. In our 2024 study on Faith Practices, of trafficking survivors in faith-based shelters, 71% identified Bible study as the practice that most contributed to their healing. In our 2025 study, Exiting Exploitation, survivors shared the importance of seeing others like them who have not only survived—but are living lives of hope and faith.
Offering biblical truth, powerful testimony, and reflection on God’s healing and redemptive love.
Seven-part Bible study coming soon
In 2025 we were inspired to create this powerful Bible study series, for survivors, by survivors.
“Women of the Bible …like me” is a retelling of some of the greatest stories in history: stories of women who faced struggle and hardship with courage and hope, told through the voices of survivors today. Seven amazing women joined us for this first series, picking a character that most resonated with their experiences, and telling those stories in their own words.
This series is offered at no cost to shelters on our ShelterU. online learning platform. Others can purchase the series or individual modules from EquipU.
