Direct Care Core Competencies (2024)
The Direct Care Core Competencies Survey Report serves as a foundational effort to establish industry-standard professional guidelines for staff working in residential programs for survivors of domestic sex trafficking. Based on a survey of 88 agencies—the majority of which operate long-term restorative programs—the report identifies the specific knowledge, skills, and personal attributes most critical for Direct Care Staff (DCS) who have consistent contact with survivors.
