This research brief, provides an early-stage analysis of the funding needs, operating budgets, and resource challenges of residential programs serving survivors of domestic sex trafficking in the United States. Based on a survey of 16 agencies across 11 states, the report highlights an industry in its “infancy,” characterized by high personal sacrifice and a heavy reliance on faith-based support.
