Exiting Commercial Sexual Exploitation (2025)
This study, published in Dignity: A Journal of Analysis of Exploitation and Violence, presents one of the largest qualitative analyses of female survivors of commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) in the United States. Based on a national survey of 189 survivors, authors Jeanne L. Allert and Sherri L. Wyatt examine the complex motivations, barriers, and catalysts involved in permanently leaving “the Life.”
